Teaching Philosophy
Our philosophy is to find the lesson program and package that provides a student with the knowledge and motivation to achieve that student’s goals. We will give the students drills and instruction to help the student get the most from their swing and reinforce the fundamentals (stance, grip, posture and set up). We will work with the students to establish a practice routine that will help improve their skills.

The Professional Staff at Kingsville Golf and Country Club offer outdoor lessons by appointment seven days a week, beginning in early April and concluding in early November (weather permitting). In addition, we now offer winter lessons in a climate controlled indoor setting so you can work on your game year round.

Practice Facility

The practice facility at Kingsville Golf is one of the best in the area. We have an oversized putting green and a full short game area with practice bunker. Also a professional size practice range, featuring grass tees, irrigation system and target greens on the range.

Currently, drivers are not permitted on the range.

Golf Shop Staff and Instructors

Greg Knox is our Golf Shop Supervisor. He has been a member of the CPGA since 1993 and has been a Class A Professional since 1997. Greg joined Kingsville Golf Club in 1995 and is responsible for all of the day-to-day duties in Golf Operations including; Member and Corporate Tournaments, Member Leagues, Golf Shop Sales as well as for all Golf Service Staff.

Jeremy Kroh is an Assistant Professional with the Canadian PGA and joined the staff here at Kingsville in 2005. Jeremy is responsible for all of our Junior Programs, Lessons & Club Fitting, Assisting with all Member Events as well as Golf Shop Merchandising. Jeremy offers both Private and Group Lessons.

Mike McDonald is a Golf Shop Assistant that plans to turn Professional this summer after completing his studies in the Professional Golf Management Program at St. Clair College. Mike co-chairs our Junior Golf Program. In addition, Mike assists with our Member Events and all day to day duties within the Golf Shop.

Ryan Peltier is new to our staff at Kingsville but brings experience from his time as an Assistant Professional at Nanaimo Golf Club in BC. An Amherstburg native, Ryan returns to Essex County and looks forward to serving the members and guests of Kingsville. Ryan is a graduate of the Professional Golf Management Program at St. Clair College and joined the CPGA in 2009.

Jayme Ryan is a welcome addition to our Golf Shop Staff. Jayme is currently a student at the University of Windsor and will serve as a Golf Shop Attendant this summer. Jayme will assist members and guests with daily requests and assist with duties such as tournament registration and Golf Shop Merchandising.

Private Lessons
Are available by appointment are 40 minutes in length. These can be booked as single lessons, or in series of 3 or 5 lessons. Call 519-733-6585 to book your lesson or for pricing information.

Group Lessons
We offer group lessons with a maximum size of 6 students per instructor. Group Lessons are usually 1 hour in length. Call for Pricing and Availabilty.
