I recently played in the Royale Cup Canadian Women's Amateur Championship hosted by Kingsville Golf and Country Club and I was blown away with the service Prior to this event, I had never heard of Kingsville Golf and Country Club. I can tell you that it is a hidden gem, the golf course itself is a wonderfully challenging track, in superb condition, and has tonnes of character! Kingsville Golf and Country Club definitely set the bar extremely high for all of the Canadian Championships in the future. Having recently returned from the 2010 Royale Cup Canadian Women's Amateur held at the Kingsville G&CC I cannot say enough about this facility. By far the best organized event I have attended in six years of competitive golf, Kingsville surpassed all expectations. The course was in great condition despite a lengthy draught and sudden heavy thunderstorms leading into the week. The track was definitely worthy of hosting a national championship. The Golf Shop Staff was generous and enthusiastic towards all participants, treating the tournament as the prestigious event it truly is. From a player's standpoint everything seemed to run without a hitch, thanks to the hardwork of the Kingsville staff behind the scenes. Even a need for evacuation of the course due to imminent lightning was dealt with efficiently and effectively, clearing the course of all competitors before the first drops of rain ever hit the ground. The food and beverage staff must also be appreciated for their great service all week long. They were very accommodating during the storm on day two, ensuring everyone's comfort during about a 90 minute wait indoors. They were also exceptionally accommodating at the end of this round, when players delayed by the weather came in haphazardly post-play for the banquet meal. The daily breakfasts and lunches were delicious, and added to the quality of the event as well- we could not have been treated any better. I would like to thank the entire Kingsville staff, as well as their great membership who volunteered their time and their golf course for our championship this summer. Kingsville Golf & Country Club deserves a huge congradulations! Hopefully we will be back again soon. To all of the members as well as the staff, thank you so much for welcoming us and the privilige to play your course. To all of the volunteers, they made the Canadian Women's Amateur an awesome event! Best regards,

and hospitality provided. They truly pulled off a world-class event. One thing I observed and really appreciated was they weren't just on their A-game for this particular tournament, I could tell they were on their A-game 100% of the time. From small things like the Pro Shop staff smiling and saying "hello" to more adverse situations like evacuating the entire golf course due to weather, not to mention the F&B team accommodating 100+ weather-delayed players in the restaurant at once while preparing for the banquet to be held later that evening, to the membership giving up their course for and entire week, and many of them volunteering their days to help at the event, all of these things made us feel nothing short of privileged to play at such a great golf course.
